Group and Project Support

Jim is originally from Cincinnati and joined the staff in Monterrey full-time in January 2007. Betty, who is from Monterrey, and he were married on the Back2Back campus in October 2007. Together they are parents of seven children, ranging in ages from 27 to 10. Ryan, married to Alli, lives in Cincinnati, as does Tallie. The other five, Jonathan, Priscilla, Kevin, Brenda and Ashley, live with them in Monterrey. They have one granddaughter, Penelope, in Cincinnati also.
  Together, Betty and Jim are captains of the ministry area Rio III. They both have a passion to serve the children that Back2Back ministers to in this humble community. Betty also works as a social worker, in the local school system. She assists the care givers at Casa Hogar Douglas assess the needs of the students. Jim oversees the carpentry shop at Casa Hogar Douglas. He teaches a woodworking class, twice a week, where the older kids learn woodworking skills. Some of the items they make are sold to help out with the operating expenses of the children's home. Betty and Jim consider it a great blessing and honor to be a part of the Mexico staff.
