Welcome to Back2Back India – the newest location of Back2Back Ministries in operation since in December 2008. Here are some initial thoughts from our staff in India.

The need is great:

There are over 1 billion people in India. India has 400 million children which is more than the entire US population. Approximately 9% of these children (35 million) are orphans. Back2Back India is partnering with children’s homes, some serving more than 200 children.

The challenge is greater:

These children are outcasts in India’s society. Contributing factors include extreme poverty, the caste system and multiple religious beliefs. With India being such a far distance from the US, the reality of the situation there also seems far away.

Our God is greatest:

He promises to provide for the needs of orphans. He brings people to serve along side us and He answers the prayers of faithful servants.
