John and Corrie Guckenberger

Meet John and Corrie Guckenberger. They have three children: Sarah, 10 years old; Gus, 9 years old; and Sami, 7 years old. John graduated from University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in Construction Management and an associate’s degree in Civil and Construction Engineering. Corrie graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. They heard their calling to join the staff in 2004 where they proceeded to move to Back2Back Mexico, and they lived there four years.

They now are following the Lord to help support the Back2Back Nigeria team and will officially be stationed in Africa in February of 2009.

They recognized early on in Mexico that John's ability to build and have ministry go hand in hand was a win/win for the whole family, and he will still be able to construct and help develop property that has been leased to Back2Back. He and his wife look forward to being in an underdeveloped country and being on the beginning stages of this ministry. They are both excited and a little apprehensive to see what God has for them there. Their roles will be more broad as the team there is smaller and look forward to building and bridging relationships to Christ.
